Euro Truck Simulator 2 VR - Meta/Oculus Quest 2 and Virtual Desktop in 2024

My setup of Virtual Reality for this project is:

Meta/Oculus Quest 2
Virtual Desktop app on the Quest
Virtual Desktop streamer on Windows
Wifi 6 (no link cable)

It’s 2024 and this should be easy. Too bad for me, it isn’t. Follow this checklist to save yourself from the headaches I went through. That’s right, I suffered so you (maybe) won’t have to.

How To Launch Euro Truck Simulator 2 in VR Mode - Quest 2 and Virtual Desktop

Switch to the VR Beta Stream of ETS2 in the Game Properties. At the time of writing, it’s Version 1.49
Add -openvr to the launch options to use Steam VR. ~~Not “oculus”, not “oculusvr”. Don’t be like me!~~
Forget about disabling Theatre mode. I couldn’t find it. Every guide says disable it. It’s gone. If you find it, disable it. But you won’t, because: it’s gone.
In the game, press F11 to switch to VR Mode after launching the game.
